Mohammad Siraj, born on 13 March 1994 in Hyderabad, India, is a right-handed, medium-speed Indian bowler. Siraj is well-known for being dangerous with his yorkers during the slog overs of the last few years. For a while now Siraj has been part of the Indian squad across three different formats. He is able to consistently bowl in the 135-140 kph area and also throw slower balls when needed.
Siraj was born into an extremely low-income Muslim family. His family adheres to the Muslim religion, and they also offer prayer in the dargah to Allah. Mohammed Siraj’s father’s name was the late Mohammed Ghouse, who was a rickshaw driver.
Her mom’s name was Shabana Begum. She previously was employed at the home of other people. His father Ghouse died in November 2020 in the year 2000. The following week, Siraj left for the Australian tour.
Early Life and Education
Mohammad Siraj’s life, in the beginning, was filled with challenges. He was not financially able to finance cricket coaching, therefore he played cricket on the streets using the ball tennis. He was so passionate about the game that he would even sneak into his school to play with his buddies.
At the beginning of his career, the young man started as a batter. However, his peers encouraged him to become a pitcher after seeing his abilities. In 2015, at 20 years old, Siraj visited Chairman Cricket Club with a friend. He impressed all the players at the club.
With some excellent performances under his name on his home circuit, Mohammad Siraj made his move to the national team. In October 2017, Siraj was selected as a player for an international match in the T20I matches against New Zealand. Siraj was able to make their International Debut on 4 November 2017 in a match against New Zealand in a T20I. His debut in the Indian jersey wasn’t exactly as planned.
Mohammad Siraj was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the 2017 IPL season for a staggering sum that was 2.6 crores. He played six games taking 10 wickets during the entire season. In the year 2018, Siraj was purchased in 2018 by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Since then, he’s been associated with the team. He was able to take 11 wickets in 11 games in 2018.

Siraj is currently being paid an amount in the amount of 15 million rupees to play an ODI test match, six lakh rupees to play the ODI as well as 3 lacks for the T20I match.
