She is the second of three siblings. Her older younger sister Shivangi Kapoor, wife of actor Shakti Kapoor, is an actress who was also the mother of Siddharth Kapoor, as an actress Shraddha Kapoor.

The beautiful actress Padmini Kolhapure was married to Pradeep Sharma, also known as Tutu Sharma, who is the producer. The couple has a son called Priyank. At present, she lives alongside her parents in Mumbai.
Career
Padmini Kolhapure got her film debut in director Ravi Tandon’s film “Zindagi In which she played a child character alongside Mala Sinha, and Sanjeev Kumar as well as Vinod Mehra in the year 1976. She also appeared as a child actor in a variety of popular films through which she entered the spotlight.
In the year 1980 Padmini was in the lead role in the film “Insaaf Ka Tarazu” with Raj Babbar and Deepak Parashar which was a cult hit by critics and the public. Following that, the gifted actress made a number of highly acclaimed films for her fans. She became the most-viewed actress in the 1980s.
