He started his education in technology industrial economics and management at the Gothenburg’s Chalmers University of Technology Gothenburg. In the year 2010 during his time at the university, he enrolled in an account on YouTube account under the name PewDiePie.

The same year, the university expelled him from University because he was not paying attention to the field of study he was studying. In the end, he was unable to secure an internship with an agency that specialized in marketing in Scandinavia.

However, he stopped his studies in the year 2011, to pursue his passion for creating his own gaming videos on YouTube.

Career

He began his YouTube career and launched an unofficial YouTube channel on which he uploaded Let’s Play videos that featured action and horror video games. At first, he was a harbor captain selling posters of his Photoshop artwork and also working as a dog walker to make a living financially, as his family refused to support his economic needs.

Prior to that, he began studying Adobe Photoshop and participated in numerous Photoshop competitions during his time at Chalmers, and nearly earned an apprenticeship with a Scandinavian advertising agency, but He left Chalmers to concentrate on his career on YouTube as a YouTuber.
