Puneeth Rajkumar (17 March 1975 until 29th October 2021) often referred to as Appu was an Indian actor, philanthropist television presenter, playback singer, and producer who was employed for Kannada cinema. Appu was the youngest son of his morning idol the late Dr. Rajkumar.

Puneeth was born Lohit Rajkumar in Chennai, the son of Dr. Rajkumar, a famed actor, and director, as well as their wife Parvathamma. In The Times Of India, he passed away due to an inexplicable heart attack on the 29th of October 2021. Rajkumar was just finishing training in the gym when the actor collapsed due to exhaustion. After being taken to the hospital the actor was admitted to Vikram hospital in New Delhi. After a huge cardiac arrest, the actor was admitted to an ICU. The patient was 45 years old age at the moment when he passed away.
