Radhika Pandit is an Indian television and film actress. As a leading Kannada actress, she has made a name for herself in Kannada cinema. After having worked in TV serials like Nandagokula and Sumangali, Pandit was the first to make her feature film debut in Moggina Manasu (2008). For this, she received the Karnataka State Film Award as Best Actress and the South Filmfare Award as Best Actress. She was born on 7 March 1984 and her age is 39 years old as 2023.

The latter award was again won by her performance in Love Guru (2009), and Krishnan Love Story (2010). She rose to stardom in the commercially successful films Hudugaru (2011) and Addhuri (2012).

Early Life & Education

Radhika Pandit was the daughter of a Goan mother, and a Saraswat dad, Krishna Pandit. Krishna Pandit is a stage and film actor. They lived in Bangalore’s Malleswaram neighborhood. Pandit had a younger brother, Gourang.

She was raised in Malleswaram by her paternal grandfather and still lives there “sentimental” because he “had purchased the house with all the money that he had saved.” Pandit attended Cluny Convent High School in Bangalore and then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). Pandit studied at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore.

Personal Life

She stated that she loves going to the Chitrapur Math in Uttara Kannada because she feels good and believes there are positive vibrations. Pandit first met actor Yash at the set of her teleserial Nandagokula.

After working together in a film, they began dating. However, their relationship was kept private for many years. They got engaged in August 2016. In December, they were married in private ceremonies in Bangalore. Their daughter was born on 2nd December 2018.

Career

Radhika was the first person to face the camera in the film with the Kannada film 18th Cross, which she shot in 2007. After Chikkana’s passing, the film was temporarily stopped. However, it was released theatrically in 2012. She began filming in this role with Moggina Mangasu. She played Chanchala, a college-going teenager who, along with her three friends, is confronted with problems from irritable boyfriends and ragging.
