Rinke Khanna (born Rinkle Jatin Khanna; 27 July 1977) is an Indian former actress. She is the younger sister of the actress Dimple Kapadia as well as actress Rajesh Khanna, sister of Twinkle Khanna. Her film debut came in Pyaar Mein Kabhi (1999) and changed her initial screenname of Rinkle in the film to Rinke. In the film Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, she played the role of support. Her Tamil debut with the film 2001 Majunu. In fact, it was the sole Tamil film she had ever appeared in.

Khanna was born on the 27th of July, 1977 in Bombay (now Mumbai) to Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Khanna is the youngest child of both parents. Her older sibling, Twinkle Khanna, works as an actress. She got married to Samir Saran on the 8th of February 2003. She resides in London with her daughter and husband.

Career

Rinke Khanna began her acting career in 1999 when she was cast on screen as Khushi in the romantic Hindi film “Pyaar My Kabhi Kabhi’. The film’s performance was praised and she won the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut in the same film. Following this, she portrayed Tina in the movie ‘Jis Deh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai’ (2000).

The comedy film made by Mahesh Manjrekar featured Sonali Bendre and Govinda in the leading roles. This was the remake of the blockbuster of 1972. Marathi film ‘Eakta Jeev Sasashiv”, as well as the Kannada film ‘Bangaarada which was released in 1974.
