She is a native of Kochi, Kerala to P.B.Hariharan Menon and Prabhavathy. Rj Neena graduated from St.Treasa’s monastery Ernakulam, graduated from St.Xavier’s women’s college Aluva, and post-graduation from the Amrita Institute of Science and Technology.

She was one of the graduates from the very first cohort of MSc.Visual communication in Kerala under Cochin University. She was involved in a horrific accident that left her bedridden for about an entire year and a half following her studies.

Career

Rj Neena is one of the first Radio Jockeys in Kerala FM radio history. When she was a young girl she was always able to find humor in the most serious circumstances. She viewed life with a smile and would always express her thoughts. She would make people who were around her smile. Rj Neena was frequently criticized as “outspoken, rude, irresponsible, and so on.

A few years later, the same person is today a successful radio jockey, achieving the highest ratings throughout the years in all polls. She started her career as a Radio Jockey at Club FM, Kochi. After 2 years she became a Radio Mango 91.9 Kochi which is owned by Malayala Manorama.
