He was born Leati Anahi on the 25th of May 1985. He was born in Tampa, Florida. He was born to one of the largest wrestling families in the world, the Anoa’i Family. He is the son of Sika Anoa’i. Sika Anoa’i was the elder brother of Afa Anoa’i and is one-half of the Wild Samoans. The cousins to Yokozuna, Rikishi, and Umaga. The younger sibling of the former WWE wrestler Rosie. He attended Georgia Tech, the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He played the entire season with the CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos in 2008 before his release and his retirement from the sport. Joined WWE in the year 2010. In 2014, Reigns got married to his former girlfriend Galina Becker. On his official Instagram page, the wrestler shared beautiful pictures of the wedding at the beach in a tropical paradise. Career

Before beginning pro wrestling, Reigns was a player in football for the Georgia Institute of Technology and was named to the All-ACC first team during his senior year. He was selected in 2007. Roman Reigns was drafted in the NFL Draft but ended up being selected by the Minnesota Vikings.
