Satish Chandra Kaushik, an Indian actor, director, and producer, was also a comedian and screenwriter. His roles as “Calendar”, “Pappu Pager”, and “Chanu Ahmad” in Sarah Gavron’s Brick Lane (2007) film earned him recognition as a film actor.
His most famous performance as a theatre performer was his role as “Willy Loman”, in the Hindi version of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. He was the one who wrote the lines for the timeless comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983) by Kundan Shah.
