Plot
Ten-year-old Sembi and her grandmother, Veerathayi (played by Kovai Sarala), live a peaceful life in the serene hills of Kodaikanal. Veerathayi, an apiarist, and Sembi enjoy the beauty of nature until their lives are tragically disrupted when three influential individuals commit a heinous act by gang-raping Sembi. This horrific incident shatters their dreams and plunges them into a world of despair and injustice.
In their pursuit of justice, they face further oppression when a corrupt police officer attempts to silence Sembi and coerce her grandmother into withdrawing the case upon discovering that one of the culprits is the son of a powerful minister. Determined to protect Sembi and seek justice, the two escape from their tormentors and find refuge on a bus named Anbu, which is en route from Kodaikanal to Dindigul.

The distribution and streaming rights of the film underwent a series of changes. Initially, the post-theatrical streaming rights were sold to ZEE5, while the satellite rights were acquired by Zee Tamil. Logesh Balachandran, in his review for The Times of India, awarded the film a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. He praised Kovai Sarala’s intense performance, describing it as a delight to watch.
