Born in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, Shiva Rajkumar came into the world as the first of five children to renowned actor Rajkumar and accomplished film producer Parvathamma. Among his siblings are Raghavendra, a notable film producer, and Puneeth, who has made his mark as both an actor and a film producer. Shiva Rajkumar’s educational journey led him to T. Nagar.
Under the influence of esteemed film director K. Balachander, Shiva Rajkumar took a significant step by enrolling in an acting school in Chennai, a decision that followed his graduation from Madras University in 1983.
