Acting Career

In 1987, Stephen Baldwin made his television debut with the made-for-TV movie ‘The Prodigious Mr. Hickey from the ‘American Playhouse anthology series. The next year, he landed a role in an episode of the popular TV series ‘Family Ties,’ and also appeared in movies such as ‘The Beast’ and ‘Homeboy.’

The year 1989 marked a breakthrough in Stephen Baldwin’s career as he landed the role of young ‘William “Buffalo Bill” Cody’ in the Western TV series ‘The Young Riders.’ He also made a guest appearance on the show ‘China Beach’ that same year.
