Suresh Raina is a former Indian international cricketer who was born on the 27th of November, 1986. He was also the stand-in captain of the Indian national cricket team back then as well as in the past. Raina is a ferocious left-handed batsman, and also serves as an off-spinner at times. He has a record for having a century scored in the three formats of international cricket and is the only Indian cricketer to achieve this feat.
Early Life, Family Details
Suresh Raina was born in Muradnagar in Uttar Pradesh on November 27 in 1986. He was born in a Kashmiri Pandit Family to parents from Rainawari, Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. Suresh is the elder sister of Dinesh.
He attended the border school. In the year 2000 Suresh Raina made the decision to take up cricket, and later moved from his hometown to Lucknow and attended his first class at the Guru Gobind Singh Sports College in Lucknow.

Personal Life and Education
His dad Trilokchand Raina was a military officer at an ordinance manufacturing facility. His family moved out of “Rainawari” Jammu and Kashmir after the departure of Kashmiri Hindus in the 1990s and settled in the Ghaziabad District in Uttar Pradesh.
He studied at Ghaziabad District in the Guru Gobind Singh Sports College. Suresh Raina married Priyanka Chaudhary on the 3rd of April in 2015 and they have two children. Raina has also been awarded the honorary degree of doctor from Vels University on August 5, 2022.
International Career
He was among the top fielders during his time playing for his team, the Indian Cricket Team. He was a middle order. In the semi-finals of the 2011, Cricket World Cup, Suresh Raina played with tailenders to record an unbeaten 36, which contributed significantly to India’s final score of 260.
When he played the first ODI of the Indian tour of Sri Lanka in 2012, He was out for one but he bounced back during the 3rd ODI, where the batsman played 45 balls to give India five wickets and He also took home the Man of the Match for his performance.
