Sylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946. His father, Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone is an American actor and screenwriter. He was a struggling actor who arrived in New York in 1969. In 1974, he moved to Hollywood and became a star in the role of Stanley. Rosiello in The Lords of Flatbush.
Stallone began to find work in progressive roles as an extra or supporting character in movies with large budgets until he reached his greatest commercial and critical success as an actor. He started in 1976 as Rocky Balboa in the first film in the Rocky Series (1976-1999), for which he also wrote screenplays. Rocky portrays himself as an underdog boxer, who defeats many vicious opponents and wins twice the World Heavyweight Championship.
Childhood and Early Life
Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone was born July 6, 1946, to Frank Stallone (New York City) and Jacqueline Stallone (New York City). He is of Italian-Russian-French-Jewish descent.
The lower half of his face was paralyzed when he was born. The forceps caused permanent damage to his lower lip, tongue, and chin.
He attended the Notre Dame Academy in Philadelphia and Lincoln High School after his parents divorced. Before he went to the University of Miami, he also attended Charlotte Hall Military Academy.
Family
Sylvester Stallone was married three times. In 1974, he married Sasha Czack and had two sons. They divorced nearly a decade later. He married Brigitte Nielson on December 15, 1985. However, he divorced her two years later, in 1987. He married Jennifer Flavin in 1997. They have three children together.
Education
Later, Stallone moved from Philadelphia to live with his mother and her husband. Before he went to college, he enrolled at one of the local special schools. Stallone began his studies in drama at the American College, which is located in Switzerland. He enrolled at the University of Miami, where he studied arts. Stallone felt out of place at university and moved to New York City in order to pursue his acting career.

Personal Life
Despite his success in Hollywood, Stallone is still frequently featured for his failed marriages and affairs. He has been married three more times and had two failed engagements.
Career
In 1970, he was cast in his first pornography film, “The Party at Kitty and Stud’s”. Stallone later claimed that he made the film because he was desperate for the money. He also appeared in the film, “Rebel”, which made him a national celebrity.
In 1971, he also appeared in the off-Broadway play, “Score”, which was performed 23 times. Radley Metzger later made a film of the same. As an extra, he also appeared in Woody Allen’s ‘Bananas’ and the thriller Klute’.
He was first seen in 1975’s Jack Lemmon film, “The Prisoner of Second Avenue” and also played supporting roles in films such as “Farewell, My Lovely”, “Capone” and “Death Race 2000”.
