Taylor was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania on 13/12/1989. She was the daughter of Scott Kingsley Swift, her father, and Merrill Lynch, Taylor’s mother. Taylor Swift spent most of her childhood on a Christmas tree farm. She is from a Christian background.

Wyomissing Area Senior School was where she completed high school. When she was nine years old, she discovered music and became interested. New York City was where she received her training.
