Development

Yash Raj Films, Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif officially announced Tiger 3 on 4 March 2022 on their social media accounts, revealing the release date with an announcement video.

Casting

In February 2021, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were confirmed as the official additions to the cast of Tiger 3. Ranvir Shorey also joined the production in April 2021, reprising his role as Gopi Arya from Ek Tha Tiger. Vishal Jethwa became part of the cast in October 2021, while Emraan Hashmi was later cast in January 2022.

Filming

The principal photography of the film commenced in March 2021, with the shooting taking place in Mumbai and Delhi. Additionally, a portion of the film was shot in Turkey. In August 2021, an intense car chase sequence was filmed in Saint Petersburg. Subsequently, in September 2021, the production team moved to Austria for further filming.

Release

Initially scheduled for a theatrical release on 21 April 2023, the film was later postponed. However, in October 2022, it was officially announced that the film would hit the screens on 10 November 2023, coinciding with the festival of Diwali. To cater to a broader audience, the film will also be dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu languages.
