Plot

In Istanbul, Meenakshi manages a thriving restaurant that specializes in Rayalaseema Cuisine. She lives with her son Jai Simha Reddy, who is the owner of a car dealership. One day, during a scuffle at the dealership, Jai crosses paths with Isha, an aspiring singer who unfortunately lacks musical talent. Despite this, Jai finds himself falling in love with her.

Jai, accompanied by his mother Meenakshi, visits Isha’s home with a marriage proposal. There, he meets Isha’s father Jayaram, a wealthy tycoon. As the discussions progress, Meenakshi reveals to Isha’s relatives the identity of Jai’s father, Veera Simha Reddy, who is a prominent leader in Pulicherla, Andhra Pradesh.

Mythri Movie Makers made an official announcement in June 2021 regarding the film, initially titled NBK107, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Gopichand Malineni. To mark the commencement of the project, a pooja ceremony was held on 13th November 2021. It was reported that the filming of the movie would commence in the first quarter of 2022.

Music

Thaman S has composed the music for the film, with the first single titled “Jai Balayya” released on November 26, 2022, and the second single titled “Suguna Sundari” released on December 15, 2022.

Veera Simha Reddy was released on January 12, 2023, coinciding with the Sankranti weekend. The theatrical rights of the film were sold at a cost of ₹73 crore.
