Vivek Oberoi was born September 3rd, 1976 (age 47 as of the year 2023) in Hyderabad, India. He was named Vivek Anand, named after the Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda. Vivek Oberoi changed the name of his father to Vivek when he began to film since he believed the act of dancing and romance on screen using the name Vivek would be an offense toward the monk.
