Early Life

Warren Edward Buffett was born on the 30th of August 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. Buffett’s dad, Howard, worked as an agent for a stockbroker, and later as a U.S. congressman. Her mother, Leila Stahl Buffett, was a household worker.

Buffett was the third of three children and was the sole boy. Buffett showed an aptitude for business and financial issues as early as his childhood friends and acquaintances have claimed that Buffett was a maths genius who could make huge columns of numbers in his mind and this was a skill he frequently displayed in later years.

Education

Warren was an elementary student at Rose Hill Elementary in Omaha, Nebraska until his family relocated in 1942. The family relocated from Omaha, Nebraska to Fredericksburg, Virginia after his father was elected as a United States Congressman. Then he went to Alice Deal Junior High School in Washington DC. At the age of 17 in 1947, he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.

Personal Life

In 2006, Buffett aged 92, Buffett He got married to his longtime girlfriend Astrid Menks. Buffett was initially married to his first spouse Susan Thompson from 1952 until her death in the year 2004 however, the couple split in the late 1970s. Buffett along with Susan was blessed with three kids: Susan, Howard, and Peter.
