Aishwarya Rai was born on the 1st of November 1973 into a Tulu family of Tulu speakers in Mangalore, Karnataka, India her parents were Krishnaraj as well as Vrinda Rai. Her father was an Army biologist who passed away on March 18, 2017. Her older sister, Aditya Rai, is serving in the merchant navy.
