Drawing inspiration from John Green’s 2012 novel “The Fault in Our Stars” and its subsequent 2014 American film adaptation, the film features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in the roles of terminal cancer patients. Plot
Kizie Basu, a young woman of twenty-one, is bravely battling thyroid cancer when she crosses paths with Immanuel “Manny” Rajkumar Junior, a twenty-three-year-old who has overcome osteosarcoma and is currently in remission. Together with his friend Jagdish “JP” Pandey, who is visually impaired due to glaucoma, Manny is involved in the creation of a film where he takes on the male lead role.
As they collaborate on the project, they discover a deep connection, fueled by Manny’s adoration for Rajnikanth’s movies and Kizie’s passion for Hindi music, particularly an unfinished song by retired songwriter Abhimanyu Veer. Through their shared experiences and the filming process, Kizie and Manny gradually develop feelings for each other, their love growing stronger with every scene they shoot.
