He is an Indian politician currently serving as the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He was earlier the Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Public Works in the Government Of Maharashtra.

He was born on 9 February 1964 in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. His father’s name is Sambhaji Navlu Shinde and his mother’s name is not known. He is married to Lata Eknath Shinde who is a businesswoman. They have a son named Shrikant Shinde.
