Noor Ahmad was selected to represent Afghanistan in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, in December 2019. Later, in July 2020, he was chosen to play for the St Lucia Zouks squad in the 2020 Caribbean Premier League. He also made his List A debut for Mis Ainak Region on October 14, 2020, in the 2020 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One-Day Tournament.

International Career

Ahmad was selected for Afghanistan’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Zimbabwe and was named as a reserve for Afghanistan’s One Day International (ODI) squad for the same tour in May 2022. He marked his T20I debut on June 14, 2022, playing for Afghanistan against Zimbabwe. Ahmad’s debut in ODI was on November 30, 2022, against Sri Lanka.
