Queen Elizabeth II Biography

Queen Elizabeth II is the oldest daughter of Prince Albert of York, Duke of York (later George VI) along with his wife Elizabeth (later called”the Queen Mother). Prince Albert was her father of her. Prince Albert was the second heir to the throne when his older Brother Edward Henry VIII abdicated his throne in the year 1936, putting the timid Prince Albert into the enthralling position of King. King George VI rose to the task, even though he passed away early in 1952.

Early Life

She was born Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary on April 21, 1926, in London in the United Kingdom to Prince Albert, Duke of York (later known as King George VI), and Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.
