Plot

Despite the oppressive environment, Insia nurtures a deep passion for singing, which is wholeheartedly supported by her mother. However, Farookh vehemently opposes her dreams of becoming a singer, adding an extra layer of challenge to her aspirations.

The idea for the film originated in the creative mind of Advait Chandan, who was inspired during his involvement in the first season of Aamir Khan’s influential television talk show, Satyamev Jayate. It was during the research for an episode focusing on the grave issue of domestic violence that Chandan encountered the remarkable story of Shanno.
