Plot

The film opens with Fugga, a successful individual, delivering a speech in London. During his talk, Fugga reminisces about his journey of learning from his remarkable teacher, Anand Kumar. Through a series of flashback scenes, the narrative takes us back in time to when Anand was a young student in college. Despite coming from a lower-class background, Anand possesses an unwavering passion for studying and excels in his academic pursuits.

During a local competition ceremony, Anand receives recognition, and the esteemed local minister, Shriram Singh, expresses his pride in Anand’s achievements, promising to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Production

The filming of the movie started in November 2017, with Mrunal Thakur being cast opposite Hrithik Roshan. The picturesque Ramnagar Fort served as one of the shooting locations, where a section of the fort was transformed to replicate the Super 30 institute. Another notable shooting location was Sambhar Lake Town, which was skillfully depicted as Kota, Rajasthan, and Jaipur.

Soundtrack

Ajay Atul composed the music for the film and the lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Vipin Nair of The Hindu gave the soundtrack 3.5/5, calling it a “pretty engaging soundtrack”. The Times of India-based Debarati Sen, in her review, said the composers “do not fail to impress”.

Marketing and Release

On September 5, 2018, in honor of Teacher’s Day in India, the first-look posters of Hrithik Roshan from Super 30 were unveiled, generating excitement among fans. A second poster, featuring a revised release date, was revealed on January 12, 2019. Additionally, a fresh look at Hrithik Roshan from the film was unveiled in a new poster on June 2.

The following day, another captivating poster showcased Roshan standing in the rain of success, accompanied by the inspiring motto “Misaal Bano, Haqdaar Bano” (Be an example, be qualified). This poster further added to the anticipation surrounding the film. On June 4, the official trailer of Super 30 was released by Reliance Entertainment.
