Plot

In a dramatic turn of events, Badru takes matters into her own hands by administering sleeping pills to Hamza, restraining him by tying his hands and feet and subjecting him to physical abuse and torture, mirroring the suffering he inflicted upon her. Production

Pre-production for the film began in early January 2021 with plans for a 2021 release. The announcement was made on March 1, 2021, through a motion poster shared by Shah Rukh Khan on behalf of Red Chillies Entertainment.

Filming

Principal photography commenced with scenes featuring Bhatt and Varma in Mumbai on July 3, 2021. Bhatt shared her monochrome photos from the sets where she was seen sitting in her make-up van, rehearsing. Shah joined the cast in July but wrapped up filming for her scenes by August.

In March 2021, a promotional video and motion logo of the film were released. A teaser poster featuring the official logo of the film was released as well.
