Plot

The movie’s plot is centered around the theme of reincarnation, spanning a whopping 600 years from 1419 to 2019. The story revolves around three London-based brothers: Harry, Max, and Roy. Harry, who works as a barber, experiences strange flashes from a bygone era. Due to his forgetful nature, he mistakenly misplaces a bag of 5 million pounds belonging to the notorious gangster, Don Michael.

In a bid to gather the funds, the brothers get engaged to Pooja, Neha, and Kriti, respectively, the three daughters of the wealthy businessman, Manraj Thakral. However, as the preparations for the weddings commence, the three pairs fall in love with each other.

Kriti’s memory is jogged when she encounters Don Michael and remembers that the mandap hadn’t collapsed. Instead, it was Suryabhan who had deliberately destroyed it to kill everyone and seize the title of Maharaj for himself.

Box office

According to the reports, Housefull 4 collected ₹16.50 crore on its opening day in the domestic market. The film’s collection increased to ₹17.00 crore on the second day. However, on the third day, the film collected ₹13.00 crore, taking the total opening weekend collection to ₹46.50 crore.

Critical Response

As per the review by Komal Nahta, a film critic for Film Information, Housefull 4 is not a highly entertaining movie and has only average merits. While the festive season worked in the movie’s favor, word of mouth was not favorable for the film and could have affected its overall performance at the box office.

Soundtrack

The music for Housefull 4 was composed by a trio of composers: Sohail Sen, Farhad Samji, and Sandeep Shirodkar. The lyrics were written by Farhad Samji, Sameer Anjaan, and Vayu.
