Left stranded and vulnerable, the alien must navigate the unfamiliar terrains of Earth to retrieve his stolen device and fulfill his mission.
Meanwhile, in a seemingly unrelated part of the world, specifically Belgium, the lives of two individuals from different cultural backgrounds intertwine. Jagat Janani Sahni, fondly known as Jaggu, a spirited Indian woman, crosses paths with Sarfaraz Yousuf, a Pakistani man. In a serendipitous encounter, their hearts connect, and they fall deeply in love.

In 2011, Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma signed on for the film. Khan’s nephews Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were considered for a role that eventually went to Sushant Singh Rajput before the release of his debut movie Kai Po Che (2013).
The marketing of the film was handled by Spice PR, a Mumbai-based company owned by Prabhat Choudhary. On 23 October 2014, the makers unveiled a teaser trailer that quickly garnered significant attention. Within just five days, the trailer amassed an impressive 3.4 million views on YouTube, ultimately reaching a staggering 12 million views.
PK was released on 19 December 2014, as the 200th Bollywood release in 2014. The release was later expanded to 6000 screens worldwide, which included 5200 screens in India and 844 screens overseas.
